When thinking about the social structure of the entire living creature on the earth, human being has an overwhelming priority over other lives both morally and physically. How to build a new relationship between fauna and flora, human and non-human life? A fiction is made on the base of a new equality structure of the society.
I build this new structure by applying an interface between different groups of creature. It began technically and hypothetically with artificial gravity. And this made possible that a mutual-benefit-exchange happened though the interface. After a trial solution on different scale of ecotarium-- habitat, cluster, queen, and mixer-- I came back to the real world on campus of ETH and the city of Zürich.
The interfaces germinate from the most urbanized site by absorbing the urban energy and releasing the anti- urban energy and the energy level of both sides finally reach a balance. Also these interfaces provide a new way for lives on both sides to coequally participate in exchange, watching, display and competing. As a combination of the bio-system and the mech-system, the interfaces finally grow to an overlap layer of the city. The nodes, as the front-back connection, provide a centralized exhibition space. There are some energy-exchanging machines crept on the surface and looking for changeable energy between these two parallel spaces.
